Te Matapuna has a fresh new redesign for today's learners of Te la Reo.
This He Pukapuka Mahi (Workbook) for Te Matapuna is made up of 25 assignments ' five for each of the first five chapters of the Rauemi Akonga (Textbook). The assignments reinforce the vocabulary and structures introduced in the textbook. The first of each cluster consists of several word puzzles. In between there are a variety of exercises such as:
' matching questions and answers
' finding the right word or phrase from a list to match pictures
' creating conversations from a list of sentences
' making up answers to questions either from information in pictures or from
the questions themselves.
The assignments have been designed to be worked through by students on their own, but can be used for work in pairs, or in a group.
